Ron Lavery started his career in the film industry in 1968 at Elstree Studio in London. After moving to the United States, he produced his first film, “Terror in Beverly Hills” in 1986. Since then, he has produced many Films such as, “American Kickboxer 2”, “Dark Secrets”, “Frightmare” and “Losing Grace”.

In 1990, Ron embarked on a career in Film Distribution attending 14 American Film Markets, 11 Cannes Film Festivals and 8 MIFEDS in Italy. Also Ron has attended many film festivals in his role as acquisitions executive, and has acquired hundreds of films for a number of distribution companies.

In September 2005, he founded the production and distribution
company WestHam Films with Steven Bakos. WestHam Films is
currently distributing 45 features and several hundred hours of
TV programming all over the world.




Steven Bakos started his professional filmmaking career at the early age of 16 in his native Hungary as assistant director, then, after graduating from college, as post-production coordinator and distribution/acquisition associate. Working for several international companies, Steven coordinated the worldwide sales of the companies’ own productions as well as acquired new product from the U.S. and other territories for further distribution. This included attending many films markets, like Cannes, AFM, NATPE, etc. During these years Steven built close relationships with buyers all over the world. In spring 2003, Steven moved to Hollywood and soon became production manager for reality-TV projects and feature films. He also started working for Interstar Film Group as director of marketing, overseeing the distribution and acquisition of over 50 features.
In fall 2005, he co-founded WestHam Films with Ron Lavery.
